1969 convertible peak molding
True blue,
I haven't done much in the way of repairing moldings but I will give it a try. Is the worst damage on the curve that you are showing in the picture? Can you figure the shipping to 16301 (Oil City Pa)? Can you receive PayPal for payment?
Thanks,
Ike

Hi Ike. Yes worst is that flat spot on
the rear. It has one more small ding
about halfway down. The other marks
are old tape adhesive.Pay-pal is fine.
I will have to figure out a box with
a piece of wood in it to keep the shippers
from folding it. I will work on it this weekend
and let you know details through PM. Thanks, Adam.

Ship it using 1 1/2" PVC pipe with a 45 degree coupling at the rear end of the moulding and about a 6" piece of straight section after the 45 degree coupling. I glue one side of the 45 to keep it from twisting. Make sure you put caps on it and I jammed packing peanuts around it too. I also wrap them in plastic wrap to keep them from scuffing. I shipped a couple this way and shipping was about $45.
