Alternator brackets for AC-pulleys

Hi

Looking for AC-alternator brackets for a 77-80 VIN-R engine.

Updating this first post with an image from my service manual depicting the brackets i'm looking for - or brackets that will do the same job i.e. the bracket posted by J-(Chicago) further down.

Seller must be willing to ship to Norway, and payment by PayPal.

Have a nice day!

I'll go dig around. I'll be a highly motivated seller these next couple months. Trying to fund another build.

I scrapped an 81 olds diesel about 10 years ago. I kept some pulleys and brackets(and the injector pump and lines) I will dig around too and see if I still have them.
Hey J, let's race to see who finds them first! lol My money is on you!

Anything metric that I'd have would be from 307's. So it would be best if you found them first.

I'm thinking they're probably the same though

I have an alternator bracket from a 350 diesel.I think it is aluminum,or the top section is,and it mounts on the driver's side.Is this what you need?

Yes as far as I know the alternator bracket mounts to the power steering bracket, and a couple of places on the engine. Not sure on the engine part though, and if theres in any difference between mounting points on the diesel engine and the gasoline I have in it now.

Do you have pictures perhaps. I can compare them to my service manual.

Can you post the pic in your manual? Maybe that would help in your search.
I know there's a bunch of gasoline a/c alt. brackets out there. People probably just want to make sure you get the correct brackets.

Good idea! Finally get to use my scanner. Double checking my book also tells me that the bracket for the original VIN N (diesel) and my current VIN R is the same. Lucky me eh?

Here is a link to the picture that illustrate the bracket I'm looking for (it's clickable for bigger size):

That looks just like the gasoline alt a/c bracket.

I dare not say if they will fit my setup, and line up. So unless the community have some input on this I think I need to pass and hope someone has the ones pictured in my book

Judging by your pics and my pics.....I only have 1 of the pieces that you need. The one on the left in this pic.

The one Brian posted on the left is the one I have somewhere that came from an 81 diesel . . .

A lot of nice feedback here. Let me see;

507OLDS: Can't say that it looks like any of the ones in the picture I have.
J-(Chicago): Same here. You say that one the one on the left is correct, but I can't see any resemblance? Am I blind?
Ratchetmaster: If it's the same as the other one, this is not correct.

Still waiting for one who has it all. Best and most affordable solution for me. Parts are cheap in the US for us Norwegians, but shippings is nasty! Almost always more than the parts

Eh...well no Having hard time visualizing how it fit's since I can't seem to locate this part in my picture. Will it align with my setup still you think?

Anyone else found a complete setup? Check under your dog, wife and mother-in-law - maybe even in your garage!
