Replica Plastics in Dothan Alabama makes fiberglass replacements. I choose them because they are the only supplier that had a one piece rear filler (no seam under the license plate). The side fillers were a pain to fit and I had to return a set for replacements because o

f defects. It took a lot of fine tuning with a dremel tool to get a good alignment and I also used rubber washers on all bolts/screws to prevent friction and possible squeeks because this material is fiberglass not rubber. If you're patient and good with your hands this might be a good source for you. The Old man that runs the place is a grouch and is not open to constructive criticism...just a little FYI. In the end I had a professional body shop paint mine, I installed them and I'm very pleased. They look original.

Here's an option if the other place doesn't work out.

IT would probably be a good car for a daily driver. Those things you mentioned are cosmetic. If it runs, drive it.

They are made of fiberglass so they are as certainly more rigid the original plastic fillers but flexible enough to work with. I would carefully inspect the side fillers to be sure they have a lot of life left in them. Maybe the Toronado fillers are made of a different material than the Ninety Eight. Every 80-84 Ninety Eight I have seen, all three rear fillers fail. One of my Ninety Eights had a deteriorated rear filler but intact side fillers... one spray with the water hose at a self wash destroyed them because they were brittle. All three of my Ninety Eights front and front side fillers are in perfect condition with no sign of deteriorating... a different material? I'm not sure.
