'81-'87 Cutlass Quarter Panel

Vehicle: 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon 442 (442 was a Salon option package from 1985 through 1987)

Body Style: Coupe, i.e. 2-Door (IMPORTANT: A part from a Sedan, i.e. 4-door, WILL NOT WORK)

Required Part: Driver's Side (Left) Full Factory Quarter-Panel, including the portion between the lower
quarter panel and roof. The quarter/opera window and trim is also desirable, but I can find
that elsewhere, if needed.
Compatibility: With the exception of convertible models, I believe any quarter-panel from any Cutlass,
Cutlass Supreme, Cutlass Salon, or Cutlass Salon 442 manufactured between 1981 and 1987,
as well as the 1988 RWD cutlass (FWD models were produced later that year) will fit, as
long as it's from a coupe (2-door). PLEASE CONFIRM OR REFUTE IF YOU HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS.

Condition: Rust: Very little to none
Dents: Allowable, providing they are repairable by a typical body shop
Scratches: Allowable
Paint: Irrelevant - My body shop will re-paint
Trim: Irrelevant - My body shop will re-use my old physical trim,
and I will have a custom decal made and applied elsewhere

Notes: I need the entire "factory" panel, i.e. horizontally from the door to the quarter-panel
extension at the back of the car (the extension itself is not needed), and vertically from
the bottom of the vehicle to the roof (or at minimum, within four inches from it),
including the quarter/opera window and trim, if possible. The after-market panels I've
located don't include the window and "exterior sail" steel, but my body shop tells me the
factory panel includes the lower portion, upper portion, and window cutout as a single
piece, and that it's this large, single piece that I need. So I either need a new factory
panel (which so far appears unavailable), an after-market panel that includes the lower,
portion, upper portion, and window cutout (which also so far appears unavailable), or a
panel cut from an existing car.

The first part you wrote I refute, but fixed it for you. The part about the quarter panel being the same if it's off a 2-door 81-88 RWD Supreme/Calais/Salon/Supreme Classic is confirmed.

Sorry - I'm in rural Kentucky, Murray, about two hours from Nashville and four hours from Louisville.
