77-85 B-body Police Speedometer
I've been looking for one of these for years and have never seen one - it may not exist. I want a 77-85 Olds B-body (or C-body) horizontal speedometer cluster, calibrated above 85 mph, and maybe saying "Certified" on it or similar. I want to put this in my 77 Pace Car.
The actual track-used 1977 Pace Car had a custom piece calibrated to 140mph - there's a single bad photo of this on the interwebs, it has a homemade sticker "Premium Fuel Only" applied to its face and also has a trip odometer.
At least one 77 Pace Car owner has re-calibrated/re-painted a stock 85mph unit (the correct "early" version, without KPH and with rectangles for turn signals instead of triangles) to read 140 mph. Theirs didn't include a trip odometer, an option that is rarer than I wish it were.
I wonder if there was ever an Olds factory-made cop speedo. Most cop cars of era were either not GM or were Chevy Caprice 9C1s, which have a different dashboard than Olds Delta 88. I haven't come across many photos of actual 77-85 Oldsmobile cop cars from any department in the US or Canada.
Anywho - if you know of a factory Certified Olds speedo kicking around let me know. I guess I'd also be interested in a nice 85-mph example with trip odometer to re-calibrate myself.
Thanks.

Here's a picture of a restored 77 Delta 88 Pace Car with custom re-calibrated/repainted 140 mph speedometer.
