74-79 350 block From a Hurst

Just putting my feelers out there to see maybe someone has one, or knows of a parts car. I am looking for a 350 out of a 74-79 Hurst. My 307 in mine needs to be pulled and put new seals in ( again :/ ) and I thought since I have to pull it out, I might put something in with a little more pep for a while. I figure if I'm going to mess with the originality of my car, the motor that's going back in will at least be from another Hurst. This way it's has a little history behind it. I might just re-do the 307 again for a third time, but wanted to know if anyone knew of a 350 block out there. Thanks!

FYI No 1973 HO used a 350. The 79HO is of a windowed main design & should be avoided.

You are way better off doing a mild build up on a 77-79 403 for your 84 HO.

73-79 350 block

I have pretty much any year 350 Olds engine block known to man. I have complete cores, as well as, short blocks, heads, cranks, intakes, etc. I also have 307s, 330s, 350D, 350DX, 403s, 425s, 455s and (1) '68-'69 400. That's over 35 years of collecting Olds engines. I can ship with Fastenal anywhere you'd like. Thanks, Bob.

HurstLightning84, I have the 350 block from my 76 442. Am in Battle Creek so pick up would be fairly easy. Brett

There's a 1973 Hurst Olds for sale here in my neck of the woods (Alabama). The seller wants $3000.00. But I am sure you could talk him down. It's been for sale for quite awhile. Look it up on the Birmingham Craigslist.

Sorry Hurst I just received your reply, the 350 was pulled during the sale of my car to next owner, he wanted a big block. Had about 103 000 miles usual story didn't use oi,l a little smoke on hard acceleration. I have long block...crank mains pistons and rods etc. original Heads and intake are gone. But I do have other SBO heads to choose from and intakes as well. The engine is disassembled.
