Looking for the water pump for my W-30. It’s 408329 cast. Thanks. All the best. Mark

Check the Oldsmobile page on https://www.vintagepartsource.com , large list of parts suppliers, one of them may have that water pump

I have seen the 329 pump in both 5" and 5 1/2" length. Your car needs the 5 1/2" for a stock pulley setup. The 329 pump is also identified by a large 2 cast in the housing.

FYI, I thought I would mention, that the 408329 water pump has a large 2 on it.
But I have a 408329 water pump with an X instead.
I am still trying to figure out the reason.

Would like the one with large 2 please. My research stated that’s correct and the red one in you pictures showing it is perfect. Btw. Is is 5 in or 51/2? Thanks. And I need to know how to pay. All the best. Mark.

that I have pictured is indeed 5.6 flange dimension but that pump is date code 8
If your 221 dated car with 207-115 approximate generaly accepted component build dates is one your shopping for , that date code 8 may not be the One you want

#1 pumps casting 408328 are 5.1 flange dimension & can accept large 4.8 HDC Impeller
#2 pumps casting 408329 are 5.6 flange dimension & can accept large 4.8 HDC Impeller
#3 pumps casting 407536 are 6.1 flange dimension & CAN NOT accept the large 4.8 impeller without machining the housing

Common Olds flange dimensions of 5.1 , 5.6 , & 6.1 are all rounded up .038 & shown here with 71-72 #1 , #2 , & #3 pumps side by side
