There is a semi-complete W30 package for sale on e Bay - 7040258 carb, intake and distributor.

that's a lot of cash, @2k per part. nice condition though, good for a car built in late December '69 - February '70

I would separate if I can find a buyer for each of the items. The e Bay price is inflated. I would consider reasonable offers.

Yes, they are certainly very nice items but price is a fair bit more than I'd really consider even if they were split up unfortunately.

Bump. Still on the hunt for a 7040258 carb. I have a very good 7040253 ('70 442 Manual) that I'd be happy to negotiate in a deal if that would be of interest too. And the fact that I'm "Down Under" isn't a barrier in any way. Please send me a PM if you can help. Thanks.

Thanks to another member here on ClassicOldsmobile.com I been successful in securing a good rebuildable carb. It's now in a cue to be restored and will soon help complete a few of the missing parts on my '70 W30. Now just need to find the final missing piece - a W27 that the car had when it rolled off the line in Lansing.
