70 W30 Distributor Vacuum Advance - needed

Hello,
Your assistance is needed as I am looking for an original Delco distributor vacuum advance unit for my '70 W30 - I believe this is the correct p/n 1973427 or D1315A or MS 427-16. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Bill,
Just seeking an OEM vacuum advance for my car, but do you have an 1111979 distributor? If so, I may be interested in purchasing an extra one....

any of them new in the box?
my 1968 would use one stamped

418 16

for PN 1973418 and 16 degrees advance provided

Original Poster- I probably have a used one but I assume you need a pretty and new one. Presumably you tried a google search on the number and feepay searches set up to notify you if one appears?

The B9 advance can starts at 7-9"Hg and maxes out at 10.3° at 16-18"Hg.

It is the equivalent of the NAPA VC1605.

It's 10° max is not the same as the 16° max that Octania noted above for the 1973427.

According to NAPA, it interchanges with a wide variety of Chev. and GMC trucks, a few Chev. cars, and a '66 Poncho 389, but not any Olds.

That doesn't mean that it can't be used in Olds applications, but their engineers didn't think it was a good match for any of them.

It would be used on an HEI, where you don't need much vacuum advance.

Sorry, Eric, but the B9 is a points advance.

It won't fit an HEI.

Delco ACDELCO Part # D1394C at $24
is the best I can do today
Rockauto.com
I may have a used one in the pile o' distributors, or on the parts car, but the sheer search adds up to more than $25... for a used part... looks unlikely.
