70 vista parts needed

Hi, I am doing a 70 vista cruiser and need the following pieces. Need the r/r wheel opening moulding,r/r lower moulding behind wheel that seperates the woodgrain and paint, rear gate handle, lowermoulding on the gate that seperates the wodgrain from paint, rear gate opening trim, front grilles that are in one piece, door window trim around glass on outside and interior trim panels the cover the "C" pillar on the inside. I also would be interested in a 70-72 vista cruiser bigblock car for parts if it had a lot of the thing I need. I also need the roof mouldings needed to two tone the roof.

Sorry for posting in two spots but relized I may have put this in the wrong section. Thanks

Still looking for all these parts plus I need a long tail 400 transmission. I think that is what is used in the 70 vista cruiser.

Thanks I appreciate it. I would like to take all the stainless to the polisher at the same time so finding the wheel opening and the small piece on the lower rear quater is most important right now,

Vista parts here.

Hi,
I'm in Indianapolis & have some of the parts you need. Give me a call if you want with what you still need & I'll track down what I have & get some pix to you. I have a luggage rack & most of the trim & a trans or two & the vent & dash parts. I bought new glass run channel for my doors & tail gate. I can get that info. for you also. Might also have the lic plate stuff.
Thanks
Scott

I have a license plate lite, front or rear?

It's a little bent and rust encrusted but the bulb housing, contact and wire look okay.
The lens is broken on one end and cracked but I thinks you you can get those from Fusick.
If you want it PM me your address and I'll send it out. If you like it send me whatever it cost for shipping , if you don't like it pitch it in the trash and send me whatever it cost for shipping.

Those are almost always messed up on the top from being exposed to the sun. That plastic can't take UV exposure, they should of never used it there but they did.
Mine were bad so I rebuilt the tops with flexible bumper repair putty and then I skimmed over the top surface with some 2K glazing putty and textured it with a sponge until it looked just like the rest of it, sort of.
The top interior C pillar covers get brittle as glass and you have to be really careful removing and installing them too.

I know these get brittle from the way the sit in the car but I was hoping someone with a car from the northeast would have them with less sun exposure.

Sorry, I hadn't read your post for a while. If the lower C pillar covers aren't good enough when they show up let me know. I believe I have an extra set.

Steve,
I've got those two ugly c pillar moldings. They are better than nothing, that's about all I can say about them.
I do have an extra key cylinder for a vista tail gate, but no wiring.
Give me a call if you want.
Thanks.

Thanks Scott, If the "C" pillars are all crumblely would not be able to use them. I don't mind painting them put have to be solid. I also need a dash ash tray door and hardware. Does the rear cylinder have a key and bezel? Thanks

70vista, I have just the cylinder. I thought I had another bezel, but it's hiding from me apparently.
I believe one of the chevelle wagon guys is reproducing those. You might check with Pete Lohrman? or do a search for chevelle wagon parts? I've got one nice ashtray door, you'll have to paint/dye to match, & I might have two of the shims for it also, but not sure. How about $20.00 for it & if I have the shims, I'll include them also.

giftman23,
Here is a link to a picture of the drivers side, pass side is similiar to this one. These have been painted at one time. With some work & more paint, they would look ok, but not great. Give me a call if you want.
Thanks.
Scott
