Did they offer a factory woodgrain steering wheel in '70?

Thanks for the info.
Do you mean a generic wheel EAAR?

In an Olds brochure color illustration they show a stock '71 Vista steering wheel with a woodgrain rim, wish they would of made one.

No. Not generic. I am actually looking for any kind of light that may be shed on this. I have a customer that brought me his 70 Cutlass for work. He has owned the car since '75. It has a hotrod steering wheel now. He tells me it had a stering wheel with wood grain. I imagined a green wheel (green car and dash pad, gold interior) with a simulated wood inlay. He said "all woodgrain". Help???

The rim blow steering wheel, in which the horn cold be used by depressing a soft area of the wheel, had a narrow strip of wood grain inlay (plastic) that was maybe a quarter of an inch wide, that went around the circumference/face of the wheel. Had one on my '70 SX.
