70 350 intake and carb

Hello,

My name is Emory Hall from Montgomery, Alabama. have a Rallye 350. Only problem is that it has a 455 engine in it. I am in the process of putting together parts to rebuild this car. It will have to be re-bodied and the frame replaced, along with putting a 350 engine back in it. I now have the body that can be rebuilt (The original is not worth trying to repair). I also have a 1970 350 engine but I need a cast iron manifold and carb. I believe I am correct that the intake is #398663, which fits 68 to 70 and the carb is 7040250. I do have a Performer manifold if someone would like to swap

The short version is that this was a Chicago car and is going to have to be rebuilt from the bottom up. The first project will be to build a complete rolling frame, and suspension and install the 350 engine and drive train. After that I will start on the body. Also I will have a running 1970 455 engine with correct 704251 carb to sell.

Any ideas or assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Emory

A 403 manifold might fit but I am looking for a non egr correct manifold for 1970. I will keep the Performer for now and once I have a replacement then I will let you know about the Performer.

Thanks,

Emory

Smile 70 350 intake and carb

I am currently "restifying" a Rallye 350 for a customer. I have an intake, several "250" carbs and a frame/rolling chassis from misc. parts cars. You can e-mail me to discuss: drolds1@bellsouth.net. I'm in south Florida. I MAY be able to arrange transportation of the frame. Thanks, Bob.

I wanted to find out if you were still interested in buying my Edelbrock 3711 manifold? I now have the cast iron manifold I was looking for so I am ready to sell the other one. If so let me know and we can discuss price.

Thanks,

Emory

Just realized this post is pretty old so you probably already found what you needed.

That is correct. I hooked Emory up with a correct intake, 250 carb and some pistons.

Wow Emory, looks like you have a real job ahead of you. I think my Rallye is a little bit better shape (not much though) than yours. I think the frame on mine is good. But it has to be restored. Because it is a Cutlass s sedan (3677) and a 4 speed. Only made 160 of them. It will go nicely with the boys 70 442 sedan when we get them done. Would like to see some pics too.

Yes, It will be a big project, but it will be a nice car when I get it done. My is a coupe body and an automatic so it is not as rare as yours. Emory
