69 350 Exhaust manifold
Hi Steve
I've got several of those, price would be $15 plus shipping. Which may be another $15! So lets see if someone closer has one to save you some shipping dollars and use me as a last resort if you don't find one at less that $30 total costs. John

I don't mind paying the $30. I am up to my neck in a 69 cutlass rebuild and as I am trying to bolt up the LH exhaust system (from InLine Tube), find that there is a big difference between the diameter of the exhaust pipe and the manifold outlet. If it is not a problem, if you could measure the diameter of the manifold outlet and it matches my exhaust, would like to make a deal.
Don't know why I am surprised though, there are many odd GM parts in this car already.
How's the weather in OR? We used to live up north in Olympia, WA for quite a while.
Regards
Steve

I'll measure that for you tomorrow afternoon. The drivers side small block manifold was the same for many years and are very common. So you have one but its a different size than the pipe? John
P.S. we've had a very dry winter with much nicer weather than normal. I'm whispering that as I know some members here have been putting up with many feet of snow!
I'm going to take one more look in the morning an make sue I didn't screw it up. Already know the car has a 65 chevy application muncie M22 on it and a 84 chevy quadrajet.
Thanks for checking.

Make sure you do in fact have the correct exhaust manifold, and contrary to what you may have been told, the exhaust manifolds for ALL '69 350 engines were the same, regardless of single or dual exhaust. The dual exhaust had a "Block-off"----not saying this was the most efficient for the car, but probably was for Oldsmobile's bottom line!
After a new look in the morning, the problem is that the exhaust tube flange doesn't fit flat against the manifold exhaust flange. The ideal solution would be a small "donut adapter" (I do not know what the exhaust guys call it) that fits between the manifold and the tube or I will pull the forward tube and try to put about a 5 degree bend in the front before it turns up to the manifold.
I know about the standard exhaust manifolds. This engine had the crossover pipe cut off and was capped with a 5" stub tube in front of the oil filter rather than the blocking plate.
I had this same model of car new in high school (my first car)
Thanks for the replies
