68 olds delta 88 spindle nut retaining clip

I need the retaining clip that hold the nut on the front driver's side spindle where the speedometer cable goes through. Doe's anyone have one or know where I can get something that will work? I got a spindle from All American classics. The nut/clip were not included so I called them and they are sending me the nut, but they lost the clip. Is there a car more common than than this that has the same setup?

Try using a cotter pin. I have found cars in junkyards that used screws and nails.

I don't think a cotter pin would work because the speedometer cable goes through the spindle.

Try a '67 or '68 Ninety Eight or a Pontiac Bonneville, Catalina, etc.. Should be a similar setup.

The '61, '62, '63, '64, fullsize olds should have the exact clip you are looking for and it's like a "C" styled clip that sort of hooks on the top of the Spindle and then just snaps into place without interferring with the Speedometer worm and still secures the Nut from loosening off!!!
