68 cutlass hood latch assembly.

68 cutlass hood latch assembly.

need this whole thing to finish off my 68 project. if any of you guys can give me a place to buy either original or after market i would glady appreciate it, this is my first Olds car...im more of a Chevelle guy but the 68 cutlass is one of my Favs.

It's not reproduced. Someone out there must have a rusty core support that they can cut it off of.

Dang... I was hoping it could be repro, well if anyone on the forums has one I would buy. Just reply and well go from their.

might be better off getting a complete core support as it looks like yours has some rust issues.

i wouldnt mind... the only problem is finding one. i went to about 4 junkyards today with no luck, the closest i got was a 74 olds cutlass.....

yeah I know it's hard as it's a one year only as well I had seen some on craigslist just trying to remember what area I saw them in. they go from 200 to 300 I think

where are you located as I'm trying to find out from a couple of guys I know that might have a core support as I know a few that had 68's that they were parting out.

just need the latch assembly....that connects to the bottom of the core support

Just a suggestion....Change your "Parts Wanted" title to "68 core support" & then explain what part of it you need. There are plenty of people that have 68's and have saved a crappy rusty core supports. I sold a whole core support for $45 a few years ago.

Click "EDIT"
Click "Go Advanced" (lower right corner of the post)
And you can edit the title

It worked for me on a post I had with no responses. I'm not sure if you can edit after you've gotten a response.
