68-72 Power Trunk And Power Locks Wanted.

I want to add power locks and trunk to my 70 Cutlass. I’m leaning towards an aftermarket kit for the door locks to give me a key fob, but I wanted to see what’s out there. The trunk or lock switches don’t have to be correct for 1970 as long as they work. I don’t really need pictures yet just a price so I know what’s available. Thanks.

68-72 Power Trunk And Power Locks

My '69 442 had vacuum operated trunk and door locks. I believe that later ones were electric.

Switched to electric starting in the 1970 model year.

Sounds like I need 70-72 electric locks and trunk release then. I knew there was change from vac to electric somewhere just wasn’t sure exactly when. Thanks.

The 70-72 power trunk option is the same except for 1970:
I have come to find out that 1970 trunk release switch has a chrome surround and 71-72 has all black if we're being precise.

The power door lock and power trunk open were totally separate options and could be had independently, so you can also find them independently.

Thanks to all who have replied or PM’d. It seems the OEM trunk kits are around but I haven’t got any replies with original power locks. I ended up going with an aftermarket Autoloc kit for the door locks. This was a pretty easy install and it gives me a key fob which can be integrated to work with the factory, or aftermarket trunk releases.
