Are the ones from AMK correct?

I have had a very positive tip to use AMK, but they don't sell an entire chassis kit for 69 cutlass so I will be buying a 69 Chevelle Small block drum brake kit and using everything that is the same and the few differences I will need to buy separately. By memory sway bar bolts were an extra.

I vaguely recall stabilizer fasteners requiring 5/8 or 11/16 wrenches which would make the size 7/16-20, not 1/2-20...

As Octania suggests, they are 7/16 bolts (and 2-5/8 length).

If you don't have to have originals I can provide new Grade 8 (originals were also Gr 8) black phosphate-plated versions....new bolts along with new stover (ie - locking) type nuts in a clear zinc finish.

Fine or Coarse thread (your choice) and 2-1/2" length ( 7/16 - Gr 8) with new zinc plated nuts.

Edit: How are your sway bar shims (if any)??

No "biggie" if you want originals but I figured I'd make the option available. If the 1/8" length difference bugs you then you should realize mine weigh slightly less than the 2-5/8" originals.....think of the E.T. you'll gain with less weight!

Patton, don't forget, that's "unsprung weight"; it will handle better, also!

Can you get these with cross drilled heads for a greater weight savings?!

Actually, if you have them "gun drilled", you can really lighten them up.

"I thought I smelled marijuana sir. Do you have any weapons in the car?"

"Well, officer, I do have gun drilled stabilizer mounts."

"Step out of the vehicle, sir."

The sway bar bolts I have seen have a letter 'P' and I have looked everywhere and no success.

Pic shows head/marking from an original '72 442 rear bar setup..this set has coarse threads... I think we lost Tim on this thread.

Everyone, Thanks for the responses...and, as you all pointed out, they are 7/16, not 1/2 like I typed in my original post....
Ryan, I could not find these original type in the AMK catalog...
Patton...I am considering these, but holding out hope that I can find some originals...will let you know shortly as I have been trying to get multiple things done in the shop this week and haven't really been here the last couple days....
I appreciate it everyone! Happy 2016!

I've also been looking for these bolts. Did the originals have pilot points as I've seen on some Chevelles?

No - that end is basically flat....no pilot points like A-Arm bolts and some rear control arm bolts. Proof is in the pic below showing the original '72 442 rear bar "F"-marked (same bolt I posted a pic of earlier in this thread).....

Go with the Hotchkiss. They're better and don't require special bolts. My two cents.
