67 delmont88 front bumber

Hello my name is lester. I'm looking for a front bumber for a 67 delmont. Really just need center section. Also looking for odd's and end's. Will the 68 front bumber center section fit a 67? Really don't know much about the delmont. Would really appreciate some info on what all will interchange with delmont. That might help me broaden my horizon. thank you

I have a '67 Delta 88.

While the grilles are different amongst the full-size models that year (98, Delta 88, Delmont 88), it appears that the bumpers are the same. I would think you could take a bumper off of a 98 or Delta 88 and it would work.

The '68 models were altogether different as far as front-end treatment, so the bumpers will not interchange.

Here's the front end of a '67 Delmont 88:

Here's the front end of a '68:

Note the split grille and how the bumper curves downward just inboard of the headlights while it stays straight under the headlights all the way across on the '67. Also, on the '67, the turn-signal lights are mounted IN the bumper below the headlights. On the '68, the turn signals aren't in the bumper at all, but rather are above the bumper outboard of the headlights. No way the '67 and '68 bumpers would interchange.

Right, center section for Delta/Delta Custom isn't pierced for the signal lights. Delmont and 98's are.

What's your location Lester? I have a center section, but really don't like to ship big stuff like that.

You're right! I missed that. As noted, it appears '67 Delmont and 98 bumpers will interchange. Thanks.

$175 plus whatever it costs to package & ship it. This is a nice clean rechromed piece. Not show chrome, but very presentable & straight. PM me your e-mail address & I'll send you pics.

Glenn

PS, let me know what else you're looking for. I have a lot of extra stuff for '67-68 Delmonts.
