Need 68 Cutlass/442 Plastic Defrost box / No AC
I think they were the same for all the way up to 72. I'm pretty sure I could find one of these at the Pull a Part in town but I haven't had time to go and search for one. Please let me know if you have one to spare!
I'd prefer to have the original paper hoses to go with it but that's not a requirement. I put my weight on it while working under the dash and broke the tab off mine. Thanks! Eric
Sits on top of the heater box under the dash.

Why don't you just repair your original?? If it's just a broken tab it could be glued, reinforced, plastic welded, etc and the repairs aren't visible since this part is stuffed up under the dash.

That would be the one. Great, another $80 lesson learned. Ouch! these lessons are really starting to add up.
I saw that one on Epay, I was hoping to find a more reasonably priced solution.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What part(s) broke?? Do you have a camera?
If...
>Juniorsupercar, or someone else, can't find you a replacement at a decent price, and....
>It is the METAL TAB that broke off, then
Let me know and I'll make you a new metal tab that you can replace the old broken metal tab with. I have one of those pieces of ductwork here and it has the metal tab in place and intact but it's part of an overall complete set of stuff that's not for sale.
You can then easily drill out your old rivets and reattach the new metal tab with new rivets or with some small bolts/nuts/lockwashers (which I can also provide).
The metal tab is fairly easy to duplicate and I have the metal here to make the piece with.
If it's part of the plastic that broke then it can also be repaired as I mentioned above. A replacement plastic tab (if that's what broke off) can be made and glued or plastic-welded back on.
So there are some other options for you if you are unable to come up with an unbroken piece.

Thanks for looking guys! The defrost box that broke is all plastic. Just like the one in the picture from the ebay link. I'm not going to pay 80 bucks for one.
Thats crazy money for this part. Someone has one getting ready for the trash can somewhere. I got rid of a parts car that I'm sure had one in it a few years back. I never thought I'd ever need another one! That's what I get for not being a hoarder!
Anyway, thanks in advance to anyone that can help! Eric
