67 442 Rear Bumper

Looking for an extremely straight original rear bumper for a 67 442. I have one that needs some straightening, so am looking for one that just needs refinished. Must not be bent around the bumper brackets.

Why not send in the one that "needs some straightening" for re-plating? Just a curiosity question. Part of that process is straightening imperfections before the plating process. Sending in a straight one wont matter too much. Of course a mangled bumper will not make a good core.

Superior out of texas took a badly bent up 70 442 bumper for a core but not rust pitted and made it look factory new or better.

67 442 Rear Bumper

I am in the Indianapolis area.

I know bumpers can be straightened, but has to be a highly experienced place that knows what they are doing.

I would just like to have the best core I could get.

The one on my car is slightly twisted and pushed almost against the rear passenger body contour where the bumper typically sits just below.

The other one I have is slightly distorted around the bumper brackets.

I do not have a show car, but I want straight bumpers.

Superior can fix the bumpers which ever you decide. I have seen what they can do.
