Guys still need Help with this, Me and Mike are trying to find how to determine the actual OEM fan for the 67 442 w/400. Need one actually off a known original 400. Or the part number is 587253 if someone has an NOS one???? The part number is unfortunatly not stamped with a part in as much as i have been able to determine
At any rate i need the correct fan for my car.

You will notice the 622 stamp, According to the manual ,This is listed for a 6 cyl. or 330 cid. This is/has been a topic of discussion. as the "CORRECT" fan is not the 622 and the correct one has no markings. we need to locate a for sure correct one to see any differences.
Maybe someone could post a picture of there on there car???

I have some 4-blade fans in my inventory... I will check tomorrow to see if there are any differences in them... I did strip two 400 engines and, with any luck one of the fans came off these engine...

4 bladed fan
most everyone I've ever seen are heavy Cooling and the six blade I will look too might get lucky
looks like leading edge of blade recieved white or cream cored paint..fan is labeled 330: & 622
As we tried to be diligent on application id
One is off 70 88 455 no a/c but '847 HDC pump
Came from old man who retired fom olds & was all original.
havnt found a 400 fan yet but my spare 66 E block has yet to be vued ...
Have a known big block fan &it looks identical but one over the other reveals the differrnce
Big block fan in white silhouetted below the black small block fan a very small difference

I have three 4-Blade fans available... There are no visible differences from what I see... Also, I don't find any numbers on them, unless they are hidden by some surface rust... Plus I am not sure exactly where to look for the markings/numbers... Photos below for your viewing, can attach more if needed or send via email...

I got one still bolted on the front of a 67 442's engine that Ed Skaff stripped in the 80s. Let me know if I need to look at it, engine is on the cart in a garage of mine. Also I have a 4 blade on my 442 that I think is original too.
