Looking for braces for 67 442 that goes from rear upper control arm to rear lower .. I have included pix of correct one it is the black one on the right need two. Also looking for correct jack base that will fit pix attached,and finally a good used set of exhaust manifold for 67 with heat risers in tact
66 W 30, you do know that Oldsmobile did not use the control arm braces on any of the 64 thru 67 442s; so why try to use the GM product when aftermarket braces are everywhere?
Glad you found some. You would think that the factory would have put them on all 4 speed cars like Pontiac did on the GTOs. Would have saved many ripped out welds on that rear upper cross member...ask me how I know!

How far back did Pontiac use the braces? I've taken many many many 66/67 442's apart and never saw a set on them as you said.

I have taken many 65-66 gtos apart and do not recall ever removing a upper to lower control arm brace. Swapped out several rear ends on the goats as well. 65-66
Mike and Andy, maybe the braces were not factory installed on the GTOs as I thought. I do remember seeing a set on a '67 GTO while it was up on the lift in a service station many years ago; could be the owner put them on.
