65 starfire exhaust tips

Seat covers will have to be made custom; there were just too many variations on the big car upholstery, and too few cars being restored to make for enough demand for reproductions.
As for the tips, there is a guy selling each side individually on Ebay (search for "Starfire tips"), for $250 a piece...pretty pricey, but he does have a "make offer" option. Problem with these (like any unique part) is you need it, someone else has got it, so you either pay or potentially wait a very long time to find a cheaper set. And then potentially lose out to someone else in the same boat. Me, I would never pay $500...maybe $250 for the pair, maybe a little more (esp. if the car was otherwise complete and it was one of the last things I needed).

The seat covers will be a trim shop cut and stitch job. No repops. If you go back with leather it will get expensive esp if it has to be custom dyed.
Tips: pretty sure you know what they look like, but here's original part #s.
Grp 3.705 p/n 386648 RH, 386649 LH, extension, pipe, 1965 Starfire. They were $15.30 each in 1974. I expect you'll pay ten times that for an NOS now if you can find one. You might luck up and find some good used ones since a lot of Starfires got changed over to 88 tailpipes and the extensions won't be rotted out.
You'll probably also need the rubber seals though they'd be easy enough to make.
Grp 3.706 p/n 388211 seal, tail pipe extension, rubber, 1965 Starfire. $1.85 in 1974
