can someone help me please,

is there a place to buy the speed cable that goes from the cruise control box down to the left front spindle? also the do dad that is in the dust cover that the cable goes into?

mine is twiste off in the dust cover.

I have a later 98 and it was a cruise control car. I remember it running different than that but it might have what you need.

I will try to get a look in the next day or so. We have lots of snow but that is all supposed to go away in the next day or so.

might want to make sure the cruise unit didn't seize up.seemed to me when i was looking for a non-cruise cable i was finding the cruise cable available.

 

i believe 65-70 are the same. i have an nos cable ac gm part #6451443 in the box. bought it by mistake,my car doesnt have cruise. the dust cover with drive might be tough to find. 65-70 88s and 98s,they do come up on ebay occassionally

 

Ok so the speedometer cable on the 69 98 I have, which is a cruise control car routes like this: from the trans to the cruise control module and from the cruise speedometer to the left front hub. No speedometer cable from the cruise control module to the speedometer head. It had a factory cap on that side of the cruise control module.

All the components at the hub are there and the cable that routes to the speedometer is there. I have sold the cruise control set up.
