I am new to this site and am a full size Pontiac owner (63 Grand Prix, 65 Catalina, 66 Catalina). I am working on a project and came to realize that the housing used on the "P" rear end uses the same internals as our full size Pontiac brothers, but the axles are about an inch narrower on the Olds full size P rear end. This is the "hybrid" 12 bolt 8.875 with the 10 bolt cover rear. I am looking for either a complete rear end or just the housing and axles as I do have some gear sets that will work. I live in Rochester MN so something close would be nice considering shipping issues. Thanks for your time!
