Exclamation 64 Oldsmobile Starfire battery tray

Greetings. I am restoring a 64 Starfire and need a battery tray and the straps that run under the trunk. I think these parts are the same as for an 88 or Jetstar. Any help, information or leads would be appreciated.
I can be texted at 7027423736 or will take responses on forum or Email.
Regards, Yammer

By 'straps' do you mean the gas tank straps? I should have a pair from a '63 but would have to double check on condition and if they are the same.

64 Starfire Restoration

Thanks for the replies. I can wait until Spring for the battery tray. My car is currently under a foot of snow. Regarding the straps I need, when I open the trunk lid and look down all I see is the ground. The entire trunk is rusted out! Fortunately the rest of the car is pretty rust free. The story is that the previous owner let his kids carry hay in the trunk for their horse. In the Winter the hay was left in the trunk and got wet. The rusted out trunk was the result. The straps I need appear to run under the rusted out area. I don't know if the gas tank was originally under the trunk and right now I can't get to it to inspect it. Any information or thoughts would be appreciated. I have just recently obtained the car and want to accumulate all the need parts I need before I start the restoration in earnest.Regards, Yammer

Gas tank on 64 starfire is not under the deep trunk, but in front of it. Wedged vertically between rear axle and trunk floor.

If you are willing to travel, I have the entire rear pan area already separated from a 64. For obvious reasons I wont ship.

64 Starfire Restoration

Dear Deaddds:

I would be willing to travel in the Spring to get the "rear pan." This is what I would call the bottom/floor of the trunk/boot right? Do you happen to have a picture? How far up do the sides of the trunk bottom extend? How much to you want for it; and where exactly (City/State) do you live? I appreciate your response. Regards, Yammer.

DO you have a picture of the battery tray? I have a few but I have never seen one out of a 64 so don't know if I would have one correct for it. Can email to lemoldsnut@aol.com
