64-72 GM A Body DRUM BRAKE SPINDLES Wanted!

I'm looking for a set of 64-72 GM A Body (Cutlass, Chevelle, etc.) stock drum brake spindles. I used one of the common front disc brake conversion kits and I don't like the fact that the tires moved outboard by 1/2" per side. I have found a Scarebird disc brake kit that moves the tire inboard by an 1/8" compared to the stock drum brakes. However you must use a stock drum brake spindle with their kit. I was an idiot and threw my original spindles away when I put the discs on the front.

So I am looking to buy a set of stock 64-72 drum brake spindles.

Thanks for looking!

Good Grief, I found some eBay by using the word Chevelle instead of GM A Body...

I have a extra pair I could sell you. Do you need the steering arms too?

These guys can do the same thing for you (Move the wheels in and have disc brakes) and still use the disc spindles.

I had a similar experience. Like you I did a disc swap on a 67 Olds Cutlass. It moved the wheels and tires out which created a "Rub", which rubbed me the wrong way. So I searched around and someone pointed me to this website. I called them and they sold me the needed parts. I installed the parts and "Problem solved!!" No more tire rub. I was a very happy camper. The parts they sold me were part of their "Narrow track" disc conversion which they say is for subframes. It worked absolutely perfect for me.

Good luck whatever you use,

Eight years have past. Do you really think the original poster might have these left. You should start your own thread in the wanted section.
