64-67 330 fremont valve cover breather
The California closed PCV system had a breather in the passenger side valve cover and the PCV valve in the driver valve cover. I am in need of the breather for the passenger side valve cover (see pic below). Please contact me if you have one. Thanks

That's funny. I was after the whole engine originally.. julian date 104 but it was from a 67 not a 65. The other number was 4 rather than 1 or 2 (i.e. 64 or 65). i need one from a 64. I looked the pictures more and saw the breather. Declined the engine but asked for the breather. He did not respond, so I emailed again and he then said the engine was being picked up today. Did you ask him for the same part? lol! I have been looking for several years. That was the closest I've come to getting my hands on one.

No,i thought it would be a bonus as i need the air cleaner also.Been trying to get him to call me since i seen it on cl 4-19? i think he's slow to respond, then today he emails me stating it's getting picked up today. You say the block is 67?i can tell you the intake and carb air cleaner is 65.Nick

The intake could be from any 330 block, also without seeing the ID tag on the carb, it's hard to say it is from 65. BTW, if you are not a member at the 65 442 forum, you should join. The members will have the air cleaner you need. Specifically, "oldsproject" (also member on this site) might have the air cleaner. He lives south of Portland, great guy.

Hey guys,
I may have some extra breathers but don't really know which ones I need for project cars I plan to restore. I created a new post with pictures and the link is:

Thanks, John. the one I need is the filter (i.e. breather) that Jasen posted. I do not have a cross reference for that part number, so I'm unsure if the part number for 65 and 64 are the same. let me know what comes of this. thanks

yep, 66 and up had the 4MV rather than the 4GC. What i was trying to say is that carb and intake could be from any 64 or 65. The numbers the guy gave me would make the block from 1967, which you could put a 64, 65 intake and carb on to make it look like an earlier engine. Does this make sense? Sorry you had a bad experience on the other forum. No core 4GC is worth $400, not even the 65 442 only 4GC. I've picked up the 65 442 carb for $40 and 64 and 65 4GC for $20-$30. keep looking, they are out there at decent prices. good luck!

re 4gc
I got a 4gc from a member on here and no longer need one,i got sourer grapes from that conversation from that well known member on the other site, i guess i shouldn't hold that against visiting the site just know not to ask for parts prices.I've had great success from everyone on here with my parts sourcing. That engine i missed out on had from the picture all top end including carb from 65 including the ca-fremont breather.Nick

After looking at it closer, there are a lot of parts on theat engine I could have used. I should've told him I'd take it. The clamp for the heater hose is still attached to the passenger valve cover. I would venture to guess that the engine has never been apart. With that said, I'm still confused because the codes he gave me matched a 67 330 block. Do you see the engine in the photo behind the gold one? It is blue and could very well be the 67 block he gave me the codes for. Damn, I should have looked closer the first time.
