64-66 442 floor shift

Want to first to begin by saying it’s pleasure to be apart of this community. As I am new to how this works so please bear with me as I learn on the fly. With that being said. I’m in search of a floor shift for my 66 Olds 442 resto project. Im grateful and appreciate any help received along this journey.

I see one 66 lever on Facebook, but it may be sold by now. You see a lot of 67-69 listed as correct for 66. You need the lever with the square top just below the ball threads. One experienced member states that he has found some 67 three speed levers with the square top.

64-66 442 Floor Shift

'64 was 4-speed only; 4 barrel, 4 speed, 2 dual exhaust. '65 and on could be either. Which are you looking for?

Perhaps you started two threads looking for the same item?

If your problem is that the original lever has the two ears at the top of the stick broke, they are nearly all like that now. Unbroken originals are hard to find and everyone that has one of these cars with an automatic is looking for one.

I made a post on a very old thread. A seasoned user suggested I began a new one.
