A friend is in need of a good tail housing for his tranny. Seems most all have the same issue with the support ring for the rear bearing cracking from years of thrust from the 2nd gear. His housing number is 1343940-1 or higher 2 3 4 ?
As an alternative he would entertain a complete tranny from 55 to 57. We know that the 57 was the year that the tranny changed the size of the rear shaft and housing but he can deal with that. PM me with any info or ideas you may have.
