pretty much as the title says, looking for a 455 to put in my '55 runner would be good, but a turning over rebuilder is ok too. prefer in CA or states close to CA as I need to ship to Australia so the closer to CA the less internal shipping will be. As I am up for 1k for shipping, customs and duty regardless of the cost of the motor.

I've got some engines in Southern Oregon, but if your shipping point is in Southern California that could still add a couple hundred dollars to the shipping costs. If you don't get an offer close to your shipping point let me know and I'll provide information on what I have. John

yep,

had a guy look at a motor for me, the muppet was a bit suspect over the phone when I called, so a guy when and looked at it, it was a 350.

I watch craigslist, but hoped someone here might have one. I've got a good shipper now, so open to other parts of the country too as long as its not west kickacanalong.

 

Do you have a preference on what year 455?
Do you have a preference on which Heads?
Long or short tail auto transmission?

I have a variety of 68-72 455's,& I also have TH400's,but I am located in Pennsylvania,so it sounds like I would need to ship it to California,then it is shipped to Australia? That's how I had to ship some other stuff over there before.
