4 Speed hump

Does anyone have a 4 speed hump for the 68-69 Cutlass/442? May even be the same for 67 cars, but not sure. No one makes a repop that is correct anyway. Has to be some out there or someone parting a car? Do some digging for me guys.
Thanks.

Expand your search to include the same vintage Buick which uses a 5335 Hurst handle.

Good info. Thanks. I had wondered about other GM A bodies, but didn't know how to verify if it was the same hump or not. Makes sense that Fisher would have used the same hump for the same years. That will definitely increase my chances.

A Buick 5335 manual handle has the word "Hurst" engraved on it. They are in short supply. As a substitute sometimes a non 442 Cutlass handle is used. They simply have the letter H on them. They are the same shape as a 5335 as I recall. For several years both Buick and Olds used either a Ford 3 speed or a Muncie 4 speed transmission. The 68-69 model years were two of those years. A 67 Buick 3 speed was also a Ford.

I'm beginning to think we're talking apples and oranges. I'm looking fo the floor hump for the manual trans, not the shifter handle.

If the trans and handles are the same, one might reasonably assume that they share the same hump. Somewhere around 70 Buick went to a cast iron Muncie 3 speed. Just pick one up to feel the weight. I do not know if Olds made the same change. It could be that 67-72 share the same hump. The 5335 Buick handle was also used 70-72.

Well, for Olds, the 70-72 floor hump is different from 68-69 because of the offset designed into the shifter and handle. I don't know about other GM A bodies. I guess more fact finding is in order. It would seem that they could be the same if the shifter handle is a similar design. Thanks for the information.

Does this exchange about Chevy versus Buick humps sound familiar?

Thanks Eddie. Good to hear that it was a good fit. I will be getting it. I found it after Tri-Carb posted the link to the Buick thread. So thanks to both of you.
