1984 Olds 98 Black bumper trim

I am interested in purchasing either NOS or undamaged front & rear bumper moldings. These moldings are black with a white center stripe.

Thanks, Dan

That molding should be the same for 98's and 88's IIRC. Check for 1981-1985 model years (98 would be 81-84 only - Delta would be 81-85/86?)

Have you checked any of the local boneyards? The white stripe you can obviously do yourself, but there were a lot of these big cars made, so shouldn't be a huge problem findin one in good condition. If you find one that is NOS, go buy a lottery ticket too.

What's up? Your 84 looks fantastic. Is the bumper strip just something that doesn't show the scuffs or stuff in the photo?

Starfire, there is no picture. I'm commenting from memory. I used to own one of those cars too.

The wire basket wheels are what came on the car. I replaced them with the SSIII wheels.

Good choice. I like what you did

EDIT: Crazyd412, if you don't mind the suggestion, why don't you paint the white insert area red to match the theme of the rest of the upgrades? That would be really cool. If you don't want to paint it, get some red pinstriping tape and see how it would look. You'd always have the original white underneath.

I didn't think I'd like the SSIII's on a car that big, but they look great on there.

I agree with Allan on the red in the white area. Wouldn't be stock but would look awesome.

Thanks for the pics, very nice car.
