1973 Delta 88 Parts?

I'm a newbie. I bought this 1973 Delta 88 Royale convertible custom "Donk" about 2 years ago. It's about 85% restored. I've had a helluva time trying to find parts for it that's strictly cosmetic. Here's a list of needs. Front and rear marker lights with the bezels; trunk lock gate; trunk trim; "Delta 88 Royale " emblems; and the interior light covers. Now if I had the 442 or the Cutlass, I'd have no problems! Do any of y'all have any resources to share? DESPERATE TO FINISH MY WHIP! HELP A BROTHA OUT.

Your going to have to find a salvage car for all of those parts. You might send a PM to one of our members; bigdooly, he often parts 71-76 Delta 88s. Good luck.

Desert Valley Auto Parts (www.dvap.com) Phoenix AZ
Hidden Valley Auto Parts - Maricopa AZ

Two Arizona Suggestions.

When I last walked Desert Valley two years ago, did notice that they had a lot of large cars in their yard.

EZ Pull & Save is not active on www.row52.com, although they are a member. Their website link does not work. Nor do they
have inventory actively listed on Row 52.
This new member may want to call them direct.

Have no idea if this info is correct. Lifted it from the row52 website. I tried row 52 for a few months, but could not get any responses to my replies to wanted ads.

This is correct. It is a u pull it
They do not keep inventory.
This is why I asked where u are located.
I saw these cars earlier this year. I took pictures, but I accidentally deleted them
2 73 Delta 88 conv., & a couple early 70's 98s.
The 1 conv was not there long, the others where there for years, possibly decades

Looking for a Sterring wheel for a 73 Delta 88. Any possibility of having one or knowing where to get one?

Steering wheel

I posted a 75 to part out "pea soup IV,".
I will post more pix. Stering wheel has cracks, and I believe the horn pad is different 74 and later.
It is probably not what you are looking for.
71-73 may suit you better.

Big Dooly,
I'm located in Kennewick, WA. I fell off of the grid for a little bit. I'd appreciate any help that you can give me for these parts. Also would you happen to know what all years are compatible with my 73? I've heard 71' thru 75' are compatible. I have a lead on the rear marker lights and bezels but they are off of a 72'. Also, I have a mechanic buddy and he told me that there's a conversion kit for the fuse box with all of the wires. Do you know if the fuse boxes for the cutlasses from the same era, are the same as the fuse boxes from the delta? Sorry for hitting you with so many questions. I just want to get her looking right.

Hi, what are you referring to as "trunk lock gate"? The decorative optional cover that slides to hide the lock tumbler? Or the latch on the inside?

73 Royale guys: that trunk lock cover is near impossible to find anymore, NOS or nice used. The one dooly had was one of the better used ones I've seen- the clear plastic just doesn't hold up, and you're never lucky enough it comes out easy so you can just paint the black and gold in it.

But... the trunk lock covers from 77-85 Royales work on the 73-76 cars and the plastic seems to hold up better. These are red background with "Royale" script. Drill out the rivets holding the covers on and you might have to redrill one hole to mount it on the earlier car, last one I did was nearly 30 years ago. Pop rivet it in place and walla!

The later cover really sets off a red, white or dark color 73-76.

They are hard to find. I sent one to Italy a few years ago. I had an even nicer one, sold it only because I acquired an N.O .S one in a package deal of parts.
That i won't be parting with.

When I had my 71 Delta, on my trunk lock the chrome was good but the plastic faded like in the pictures above. Someone suggested covering the plastic with clear nail polish, I did, and it looked great. I suggest trying it.
