Hello friends,
a part of my car is broken. I am looking for this part for my Cutlass from 1973. Can anyone tell you if this part was also installed in other models or where I get such a part?I found a picture on Ebay, my part looks just like that. Unfortunately, this is a used part. Where can I get it new with shipping to Germany? Can someone help me?

i have a 73 I am parting out, and I think the cable / handle is still there. I will check and get back with you later today. I can ship to you also.

I have the part, but the end of the plastic housing / clip is broken. Sorry can't help. Thanks

 

Thanks, no problem. I repaired the part. I have managed to solder a new steel rope in the part. Works very well.

The plastic connector joining the two cable tends to break..1976-77 cables were one piece i believe..hard to find..
I have the front piece like you have pictured if you decide to replace with new..enjoy your cutlass!

 

I believe you're referring to the hood release cable...not the parking/emergency brake cable that OP was asking about?

gotta read twice these days..

 

if you have no luck with anyone else, i may have something for you. It looks the same as what is used in Delta 88's, i am sure i have 1 or 3 or so, good luck, Jim
