1970 SJ 3.91 Rearend
#2
1970 3.91 rear end
I have a completely gone through, 1970 3.91 TO rear from a W30 car if interested. We are upgrading, or downgrading to some, to a Chevrolet 12 bolt setup at the customers request. Personally I would leave it alone but it's his car, not mine. He asked us to see what we can get for the rear then buy the Chevrolet 12 bolt and exchange them ion the car for him before he picks it up in the beginning of 2016. It's a 100% GM rear with the TO code stamped from the factory into the right side axle tube. The GM posi is strong and the gears are near perfect. Axle bearings and seals were just replaced; not due to wear but due to the fact that they were old and the rear hadn't been used in over 10 years when we found it for him. The rear is 100% complete from drum to drum with the drums, brake shoes, hardware and wheel cylinders all being brand new as well as the rear brake hose and bracket being brand new. The rear end will need absoluetly nothing but a chassis to go into. It comes with both the W27 cover and the stock 12 bolt cover in pristione shape as well. Also, the housing was sandblasted, rust treament sprayed on, then primed and painted in Eastwood Chassis Black within the last 6 months. It has the proper GM yoke installed with a new pinion nut too.
I will attach some pictures as well. The Only way to reach me is by email since I am not on here very often. Email is: airvegas@msn.com
I live just west of Las Vegas, NV and ship stuff everywhere all the time using SAIA trucking company as I have found they have the best rates for items over 50 lbs coming out of Nevada. You can get a quote online from them. My zip code is 89048 and properly strapped to a pallet the complete housing weights just over 125 lbs.
