Of course, as soon as I post here, I finally find a book version and not just a CD like the majority of eBay.

An original hardcopy is the only way to go. Reprints and especially CD scans are near useless because they lose detail especially in the electrical wiring diagrams.

A 1970 Fisher Body manual is also a worthwhile investment. These two books will help you or anyone you hire make any repair needed. They are the same manuals the dealer mechanics used to service your Oldsmobile.

Service Guilds and Tech Bulletins are nice to have as they cover any updates and engineering and production changes, but the A-body performance crowd has driven prices of those into outrageous.

Your Ninety Eight is a GM C body.
