Does anyone still have one of these little hose connectors that fit into the hole at the end of a 1970 air cleaner? My plan is to 3D print one if I can get a good look at or measurements off one. I have already designed a piece that will work, but it would be nice to get it close to correct, if possible. Any pics from any and all angles would help!!
My 70 W-30 had the nipple, got lost over the years. Found another one on a 2bbl air cleaner. I'm curious if all 1970 charcoal vapor canisters are 3 port or just the Ca models. There are numbers on each piece, the nipple is plastic. Good luck.
The Vapor Control Canister was a mandatory option for vehicles delivered in California. An option for the canister did not appear on the Wholesale Car Order Form; therefore, no one could order the canister on a car being delivered outside California.
The 1970 canisters have three-port tops.
I'm interested in getting the air cleaner connector as well.
Based on the picture above, and knowing the size of the hole in the air cleaner, I submitted a drawing with estimated measurements to a friend who has a 3D printer. If anything comes from it, I'll sure let you all know. The clip doesn't seem to be a standard one that I can find - if anyone has an idea for that, let me know. Brake line clips are almost all 1/2", and that is too big for this piece. This looks to require about 3/8" on the inside. I found a usable clip on eBay that I'm going to try, but it would be nice to find something better.
I found a GM crankcase connector 1255-0625 that was used on the early 90's LT1 engines and ordered it. I have no idea if the size is correct yet, but it was the closest thing I could find for now. It might be an alternative if nothing else works...
Count me in on the part you make for the NA9 system . The other part that is needed the TEE # 405130 if you no of or have one I will take it .
i know the part you’re looking for - only on the W-30, I believe. The 350 cars like mine just had a regular tee fitting into the PCV line. Not sure why they made the W-30 so complicated there...

Not to change the subject, but has anyone drilled or stamped out the hole in the snorkel? Need to make the emission fitting hole in a reproduction OAI air cleaner base without distorting the snorkel. Not a California car, but a '70 Rallye so needs the hole in the snorkel.
yes that is correct that tee came on all 1970 CA 4 speed cars . saw one at pick & pull Santa Fa springs it was a 4 speed 442 back 1980 but it crumbled in my hands .
