I am working on finishing up a jack assembly from a '70-2 Cutlass. There was some pitting in various areas along the shaft.....the worst of it was on the end where the "Patent and Patent number" is stamped and the actual pantent number is now gone. It will be a completely restored assembly when finished.
If you are looking for 100% perfection...this one won't be it because of the missing patent # but it should otherwise be a very nice end product. Shaft is going in for replating soon.
If it looks like you haven't found anything when I get this one done I'll post here with the final results.
It won't be the cheapest thing out there due to the work I've done to restore it.

It is with great pleasure that I announce that today I found the factory correct car jack for my 1970 Olds Cutlass. I attended the 24th Olds Homecoming and swap meet from the RE Olds chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America at Lansing, MI. It has all the correct codes and it was completely restored. It actually looks like new. So trip from Chicago to Lansing was productive. But it was also impressive to see so many nice Olds together in one place. Loved the ride in a 1905 Curbed Dash Olds.
Correct code for 1970: 406925
Date code on rivet is OF for February 1970
Base is marked U70. Correct Federal Gray color. The mast was replated to look like the original.
