1970-1972 Cutlass Center console
I am looking for a center console for a 70-72 cutlass. I have located the seats, but now need the center console and shift if available black in color. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I know a guy north of Dallas, TX that had a 4-speed console. It's cut out at the shifter for a 4-spd so you can't convert convert it back to an automatic. The ***'y manual details where and how this is done. If you've got a manual tranny I can connect you two - he's a real stand-up guy.

I have a '70-72 console, originally black and I've restored/refinished it in that color. Fairly thorough work and detail on the work I did so it won't be the lowest priced thing out there.
Also have the regular auto floor shift setup for it. The console can also be cut to work with a Hurst Dual Gate auto shifter setup....I have the pattern to do the cutting correctly.
I'm waiting on a couple items for it and would need to do some final assembly on it as well.
PM me if you have interest and we can discuss it...can send pics, etc.

Note that the console was cut differntly for 4 speed and dual gate, and these will not work with a regular AT shifter. If it is not cut then you can do whatever you want with it.
Also, the regular AT shifters are different for 70 to 71. Not sure about 72.

I have a couple guys that have requested pics of the console. I'll be sending those out this week when I get them taken. Haven't decided on a price yet...won't be cheap as I've done a lot of work to it and it's a nice piece. You can also include your email address in your pm if you want pics sent.

Given the fact that the thread is from Jan. 2013, I am pretty sure he found one. But you can post yours in parts for sale section. Pictures, location, price and a brief description is always a good start.
