Large snorkel breather.

Large snorkel, no dents, looks like
at one time it was painted gold.
Underneath that the original red.
This will also work for the 69 442 as well.
$150 + ship. If you want the nos Wix filter,
add $10. Fits like a glove.
I can get better pics after the sun
comes up if you like.

Very good. Nice price too.
You shouldn't have a problem selling.
That one is set up for 68 also, yes?

Someone more in the know will
have to help us both on this one.

I think the 68-9 higher performance
engines had a larger snorkel.
There may be a difference on the
lower base as well, between the
two years. Placement of the valve
cover pipe for that little breather,
grommet style and stove pipe too.

'68 is different than '69. Valve cover vent is on opposite sides. The snorkel tube is similar but the '69 has formed ridges on the upper edges and the actuator for the hot air dept. is farther out on the '69. And most importantly, the labels are totally different. The '68 is full circle as the '69 is semi-circular. The small block breathers have a smaller opening on the snorkel and there is a re-inforcement piece on the end opening. The big blocks have no re-inforcement. As for the '70's they are also different and painted black to boot.

Yellowstatue pretty much hit all the points. The 69 is pretty much a critter of its own. Got one locally. Thanks for everyone offering.
