Can you send me a picture and confirm the body style these were removed from?

FYI, 3 seat sizes, narrowest from the convertibes, medium from non post cars, widest ones from post cars with no or only bolt on arm rest.

Yes, Pictures coming as soon as I can get to the shop to get them.

And yes, there are three sizes , I just recently discovered this fact when I pulled this wide seat from a 1968 Cutlass S. I assumed the wide seats were specific to the 1968 model year. But I take it from Scott's comment they were in several different model years?

Tom,
I think that is true for '68-'72. Not sure about earlier years.

I'm converting my back seat (Cutlass Holiday Coupe - medium) to the post style (widest). This will allow me to install the 442/Hurst style seat covers.

I assume all I need to do is remove the current 3" armrest assembly and convert to post style interior panels. I will need to cut off the two forward mount tabs for the current 3" arm rest.

Does this sound correct?

I have not done anything like that but I think that's about all you need to do. Cool project!

Yes. I plan to remove the armrests and current 1/2 panels to allow for the wider seat. See picture.
