I'm looking for a rear bench seat for a 69 442 holiday coupe, hopefully near me Long Island NY. The one that came with my car is from a 72 GTO, so it is too narrow. Ty, Tom

 

Hav selection of seats...condition & color preffrence
are you certain bottom is identical or at least acceptable
do you have any use for a 72 PX 400 short shaft with a damaged case?or Pontiac manual trans flywheel or the horn button or apparatus from the center of a 68 GTO steering wheel?

 

The picture is what came with my car, I need a black rear bench seat top and bottom preferably drop in. I don't have a Pontiac or need any of those parts. Thanks Tom

 

i thought the 68-72 chevelle gto cutlass rear seats were the same except for converts and seat covers ? ?

Would b nice if there was information saturated w/facts on rear seat swappin of GMs A bodies. Busy atm gathering #s/applications for as yet non existant database on Delco Remy starters alternators myself or would voulunteer to make one
Can testify of fact that rear lower 4 dr seats have slow radius from each sidr to front & 2 drs hav hadly any & called square
I have recently heard of but not yet seen hey 66 a body f 85 who's rear lower seat spans the width from door panel to door panel without any Ash Wells as they were called by that guy
recently as well I read either GTO forum or w w w V8 Buick dot-com
Where someone was advising that's some a bodies did not fit others
can't send you exact dimensions of seats on hand as well has get the digits of my buddies 68 chevelle if that helps

68 69 metal roof a bodies used 2 different rear seats-70-72 metal roof used 2 different rear seats-68-72 convertable all used the same seats ...4 door is still another story

 

U hav our attention.. Post coup vs holiday ...not interchangeable ?
Have quite abunch of rears from others unlabled...(Word 2 wise , correctly label all you can., but not chrome /stainless on visible surface , hard to make invissble. Latter..)
So i hav messuring to do unless that knowledge is forthcomming...anyway...armed with that info & a 69 post & holiday for test fit and confirmation I can still say with out a doubt or any untrueth, I do indeed hav upper and lower rear seats of core quality & possibly some in better condition for you'r 69 holiday 442 and on b half of everyone now and the folks were going to help in the future thanks for that info

 

I thought so also, but my 69 Holiday coupe needs to go panel to panel (armrests on door panel) which is like Lower seat 58 Inches
Upper seat 56 Inches. My 71 GS like the GTO have the metal filler bars that attach to the armrests that go to the floor and the bench seat is about 52" wide.

 

The metal fillers are found on '68 & '69 Supremes.
