1968 cutlass vent window crank spring

I am looking for the spring behind the door panel for the vent window crank. It’s just under 3” tall.

1968 Cutlass Vent window crank spring

Hello Jolly: How much money is fair to charge for a window crank spring? It is the same for the body series 68-72? Regards, Trent in Los Angeles

Not too sure if they are all the same. Was offered $5-15 plus shipping

I've never seen a spring used on a 68 vent window crank

Goes behind the door panel, on vent window crank shaft.

That spring is for the window crank, not the vent window crank... The vent window spring is shorter and has a small end and a big end. The big end goes against the door panel and the small end fits over the shaft and against the door inner panel.

You are actually incorrect, that 3” spring pictured in the 1st post is correct for the vent window crank, it does in fact sit behind the door panel over the vent window crank shaft, the correct spring for the window crank is shorter and one end is larger than the other.
