Think I messed up while doing my restoration. A lot of the door panel makers are saying I have to reuse my door panel decorative trim!!! I tossed my torn up panels with these on them I guess. What are they and does anyone have a set of decent ones for the doors and rear panels? Car is a 68 442 holiday coupe black interior if that matters. Thanks

 

Not real sure what trim you were told you needed but I used Legendary panels and the only pieces that was needed were the upper steel pieces that the covers go over, all the chrome trim came on the new door panels.

 

I think your right the rocket emblem I guess started in 69 and I’ve been told like you said that their panels come with the strips. Wonder why their description says customers should reuse panel trim? Maybe it’s a generic used description as used on other part descriptions.
