You might try contacting Rick. I remember being amazed at the collection of wheels he has!

These are the 1967 special steel wheels that were the only ones that would work with the disc brakes that year. I imagine they took a poverty cap.

Drum cars could have the original SSIs and the normal steelies with poverty or fake wire wheel discs as well in 67.

SSIs that could handle the factory disc brake system were the 1969 all chrome 14x6, any of the 14x6 trim ring ones (which were 70 and on), and the...71, I think....14x7 all chromes. All SSIIs can as well.

hurst68olds , that is correct , HB code stock steel disc brake wheel, 14 x 6 ,painted black ,it was used for 67 and 68
I have 2 sets of 4 of these HB code wheels , no spares ,they are pretty hard to find ,I was looking for 2 more for spares. I have 3 68's , one I am keeping 15" wheels on it ,one for sure the HB code wheels that I will be putting redline tires on. I was planning on putting the other set on the 3rd car but I would be willing to part with a set if it is really important for your friend to have the right wheels. I have been hoarding my NOS poverty hubcaps to use on these wheels and I like the looks of them better than the SS1's or SS11"s and is what came on my car. PM if interested.
