1967 442 power antenna motor

Does anyone have a functioning antenna motor for sale? My assembly is good and factory mast is in great condition, but the motor is smoked. Rear quarter factory power antenna.

I am interested in finding one myself or at least trying to rebuild mine. They certainly don't grow on trees.

That leads to question #2. Is the anyone who rebuilds the motors on these. I asked the alternator/generator restoration place locally, but they said it wasn't in their bag of tricks.

I know this ebay seller rebuilds them. You could probably message him through ebay with details.

Thanks to everyone who responded. This morning I am packaging up my factory antenna and sending it off to Florida. The suggested eBay seller (Frank) is also a restorer and an absolute gentleman and joy to speak with. Is knowledge and passion win my business.

The power antennas I have for sale, i've tested and would consider as working cores - mast goes up and down with battery, although not as smoothly as a fresh serviced one.

If I had them serviced, I'd feel better about presenting a working electrical part to interested buyer. But price would reflect the servicing.

I hadn't considered someone to rebuild antennas until I saw your post.
