Front fender power antenna

Looking to install a power antenna in the right front fender of my ‘69 Cutlass convertible. Just went through a frame-on restoration & forgot about filling the OE antenna hole & replacing the windshield with a ‘70 version that has the antenna in the glass. Realize space is an issue but wondered if anyone has put one in.

You will find that there's a reason why the factory power antenna was in the rear quarter. There isn't room under the fender for the motor on a conventional power antenna. There are vendors who sell a power antenna with a remotely-located motor that will let you mount the motor where there is room.

As Joe mentioned, you aren’t going to fit a power antenna in the front fender, in the stock location.

What I did on my car was fill the factory antenna hole, and move the antenna forward a couple inches. That’s probably not an option for a finished car, but that’s what I did on mine 25 years ago.

I’ll take a pic of my fender tomorrow if it helps
