1966 delta 88 frame

Hello I will be taking a trip in June from Wisconsin to Kentucky and id like to pick up a frame for a 66 delta 88 on the way. It can be a parts car as long as the frame is solid and id like to keep it under 1000 bucks. Let me know what you have for sale and let's make a deal.

Does it have to be a 1966? I have a 1968 and I am in Wisconsin:

I'm no expert in the big car stuff, but over in A-body land four door frames are different than two doors.. you might put a study out on it and specify what you need.

I may have what you need. PM me if you’re interested in discussing -I’m in the St. Louis MO area. 88 frames are different than 98 frames (different wheel bases) and convertibles got special HD frames…but 2 dr and 4drs got the same frames. The part numbers vary by year/engine and transmission…likely due to predrilled hole locations.

Dave.

cutlass did have 3 frame lengths, 2 door, sedan/flatop wagon and vista cruiser from 68 to 72

All 65-66 88 oldsmobiles are the same wheelbase. I have swapped 2 door and 4 door frames around. Only difference is the 98s being longer.
