Need dash gas gauge for me 65 F85 Deluxe Wagon. Right now it reads full all the time.

Have you trouble shot the system to make sure its the gauge? Normal failure mode in an open circuit or bad float sender is a gauge that reads over full.

I'm not sure how to check the unit out. I have a 65 Cutlass conv. I put a new gas tank in and new tank unit, and it reads the same as the wagon.

The gauges seldom go bad, which is why I suggested you do a bit of troubleshooting first.
